All I want for Christmas, are 14 silly little things... [Part 3]

10. Lindt Bear Milk Chocolate 500g - Available at most grocery stores {R299.95}

I'm one of those people who just have to buy a chocolate bunny on easter. Same goes for Christmas. I'm a dark chocolate lover, but for some reason when milk chocolate are shaped into something holiday themed, I want it. So here I am, wishing for this HUGE chocolate bear. Yes, that's not a typo - 500 grams of deliciousness. I'm gonna have a field day nibbling on his ears.

11. Bourjois Bronzing Powder (Chocolate Bronzer) - Available on rubybox.co.za {R149.95}

Oh boy! More chocolate. My current bronzer has hit pan, so I need to restock. I've seen quite a few rave reviews for this one, so I figured I'll add it to my wishlist. I only use matte bronzers, as I have oliy skin and don't want to add more shimmer to my face. Matte bronzers are great for contouring too. It also smells like chocolate, so I'll have to be careful, cause I might just try to take a bite.

12. Essence Gel Nails At Home Kit - Available at Clicks and Dischem {ranges from R50 - R300}

I don't do my nails very often, but when I do, I surely want the paint job to last. With the long showers I usually take, my nail polish only lasts about two days before it starts chipping away. Annoying right? Yup! So I added this kit to my wishlist. Essence claims that it will make your nail polish last up to ten days, which is a whole lot more than my current two. So count me in!

If you want to read more about this kit, click here

13. BeautyBlender, The Ultimate Makeup Sponge Applicator - rubybox.co.za {R299.95}

It's a BeautyBlender! I don't think it needs any justification as to why this pink miracle is on my wishlist.

14. Macadamia Deep Repair Masque 250ml - takealot.com {R389}

This pot of wonder have been raved about by every youtube beauty guru and their mom. My favourite beauty guru aka itsbl0ndie mentioned it in a hair care video, and I've been dying to try this ever since. Then the other day I accidently stumbled upon it on takealot.com. I was under the impression it wasn't even available in SA... Can you imagine the look on my face when I saw it? Priceless!

Well that's a wrap ladies. Santa, I hope you were taking notes.

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone

Kisses, L

Did any of these items make it onto your Christmas wishlist? Tell me in the comments :)

All I want for Christmas, are 14 silly little things... [Part 2]

5. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer - Available Online {$24}

If you haven't heard about this highlighter, you must have been living under a rock. A really big rock. This one has been on the lips of literally every beauty guru and blogger around. Unfortunately it's not available in South Africa, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that hashtagawesome.co.za will bring it to our shores soon.

6. Hisense 50" Full HD Led TV - Game {R6999}

Yes, I know, that's quite a pricey gift to ask for as a Christmas gift. To be honest, I'm promising this one for myself. I've been working a vacation job for the past month or so, and will buy myself a brand new tellie as soon as I saved up enough. I'm still rocking one of those old school, box TV's, which has reached its sell-by date a looooong time ago. It's time for an upgrade.

7. Fashion Faux Fur Snow Bear Cushion - @home {R171}

I saw these the other day in store and I just knew I had to have them. I'm planning on adding them to my current bedroom decor. Fluffy, white scatter cushions anyone? I'll take two! ✌️

8. Vanilla Brulee Treat Box - The Body Shop {R100}

Two of my favourite things combined into one - The Body Shop and vanilla. A vanilla lover's dream come true! This gift set includes a vanilla scented body butter and shower gel. Not only will I have some seriously soft skin, I'll smell heavenly too. I might just have to stock up  on this one, as the Vanilla Brulee line is limited edition.

9. Large Aluminium Black Cosmetic Case  - Clicks {R239}

My current makeup travel bag is getting a wee bit too small. While my makeup collection grew, my makeup bag got left behind. Then this cosmetic case came along. The matte black finish adds a luxurious look to the case, while the metal casing will protect my makeup brushes and all my other cosmetic goodies.

All I want for Christmas, are 14 silly little things... [Part 1]

Hi there everyone!

I hope the first 2 days of the week treated you well. To be honest, my day took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to pass. Luckily Tuesday is almost done and we're close to the middle of the week. I'm currently relaxing infront of the tellie, drinking a good 'ol cup of joe. Perfect time to do some blogging.

Since today is already the 2nd of December, it's probably a good time to compile my Christmas wishlist, right?

This year I have 14 things on my list. 14 things I really, REALLY want. I'll probably only get half of them, but a girl can dream... ☺️

1. Bulb Glass Table Lamp Base - Mr Price Home {R499.99}

If you've read my blog posts lately, you'll know I'm moving to Cape Town at the end of this year. A new apartment needs new decor. This glass lamp is just so elegant and classy, who wouldn't want it?

2. PU Ostrich Drum Medium Lamp Shade - Mr Price Home {R179.99}

To go with my classy new glass lamp base, obviously...

3. Nume Titan 3 Curling Wand - Available Online {$250}

If you follow any youtube beauty guru, you've heard about this one! The tool comes with 3 sizes of curling wands -19mm, 25mm and 32mm and is available in black, pink, purple and turquoise. Obviously I want the pink one. Nume doesn't ship to South Africa at the moment (yes I know, let's just take a moment and be sad ), but hopefully they will in the near future. In the mean time, you can buy it off eBay or wantitall.co.za.

4. Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio Capsule Coffee Machine - Available on Takealot.com {R1799}

This one is all my uncle and aunt's fault. They have a machine similar to this one, and I've fallen completely in love with this bad boy. You can have a perfectly brewed cup of coffee in under a minute. Capsules for cappuccino, caramel latte, vanilla latte and even milo are available. I'm sold!

[The Weekend Haul] : Everyone loves shopping over the weekend

Hi there!

I trust you all had a great week and have been unwinding. I can't believe the weekend is almost over again. Sigh! I just did another load of washing ( I know, washing on Sunday should be illegal right?) Anyway, back to the post... I did some shopping over the weekend at Eikestad and Sometset Mall and wanted to show you guys what I found.
I saw the cuttest glitter polish at Game. The queues where just so damn long, so I promised myself I would go back today to buy it. I didn't. Maybe next weekend, hopefully it's not all sold out yet.

I bought this cute pj set from Pick n Pay Clothing for R99.99 My favourite colour is pink, so I don't need to say anything more. There are also sets in pastel colour with different designs.

My new iPhone cover I bought at a place called Gadget Time for R169.95. The cover has a metal like finish, which I hope will make it last, cause I've been going through covers like crazy.

I love how the cover looks like it's crystal encrusted, but up close you can see it's just a lot if tiny holes.

My old pumps were a bit beaten up, so I got these at Edgars for R99.99. They're from the Kelso range.

My boyfriend and I also made a pitstop at Food Lover's Market. It started up all innocent, but we ended up walking away with over 1kg's worth of treats. I'm too scared to face the scale tonight (or the next week).

Lastly my boyfriend bought me this Sway  Mp3 Player from Clicks for R269.99 as a early Christmas present. I saw this in their Christmas Gift Guide and have been nagging him ever since to buy me one.

I love how you can wear it as a watch, which makes it prefect for jogging. It's available in blue or black, but I would have chosen pink if there was such an option.

It can hold 4GB of music/photos and is USB-rechargable, so I'll just plug it into my iPhone charger and I'll be good to go!

Have a lovely week everyone

Kisses, L

[Wishing Wednesday] : Pretty in Pink

Nothing says 'girl' more like something pink and pretty, right? Right!

I'm a real sucker for cute packaging. I'll buy a product just because it looks pretty, and if it's pink too... well you can imagine what happens. Into the basket it goes. I'm a hopeless case, I know.

So for this week's Wishing Wednesday I'm channeling my inner girly girl with all things pink.

With so much pink, how can you not want to buy it?

1. Tangle Teezer -This little brush promises to detangle wet or dry hair, without causing any damage or breakage. Less damage and breakage = healthier looking hair, who doesn't want that? As a student on a tight budget, I'm always on the hunt for a bargain. I did some digging and found this beauty on sale at www.clipinhair.co.za for only R170. They offer free standard shipping in South Africa and will even throw in free gift wrapping, which will come in very handy seeing that it Christmas season.(buy it here)

2. 10-Piece Makeup Brush Set by 27 Pinkx - If you want your makeup to look flawless, you have to invest in good quality makeup brushes. Blended eyeshadow won't happen with those little eyeshadow sponges that cosmetic companies include with the product. The set includes the following brushes:

Eyes: Edge brush, Pencil brush, Flat brush, Small flat brush, Blending brush
Face: Concealer brush, Foundation brush, Blush brush, Powder brush, Lip brush

They retail for R440 and are available here.

3. L'oreal Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara - We are all on a mission to find the perfect mascara that will give us longer, fuller looking lashes. L'oreal might have just hit the nail on the head with this one. If you've seen the ads for this mascara, you know what I'm talking about and if not, here you go:

See what I'm talking about? Long, full lashes!

I'm dying to try this one! The mascara retail for about R150 and can be found at Clicks or DisChem.

4. Lee Stafford Treatment For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length - I've seen many beauty bloggers rave about this one and really want to add it to my current hair care routine. My hair has been through so much, I'm thankful every day that it hasn't fallen out yet. It's been black twice, bleached to platinum blonde numerous times, red and is currently rocking a shade of brown. Not to even mention all the blow drying and straightening. This treatment might just give my hair the TLC is desperately needs. Lee Stafford products can only be found at Clicks, and if you're interested in buying this one, I suggest you grab your keys and head to your nearest store, as they currently have a '3 for 2' promotion on all Lee Stafford products. Retails at about R100.

5. Essence Blush Up in 20 Pinky Flow - I just love the ombre look this blush have. At only R70, it's just too pretty to pass up. Available at spree.co.za or at Clicks and DisChem stores.

Have a lovely Wednesday lovelies
